Registration is now open. Only on-line registration is possible, the registration form can be found here. For all inquiries concerning the registration form, payments, cancellations etc., please contact our conference office Confedent International.
The registration fee (both standard and student) covers the sessions, lunches, coffee breaks, WLAN, and evening programme on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. The registration fees are as follows:
- Standard registration (until August 6): 350EUR
- Standard student registration (until August 6): 250EUR
- Late registration (after August 6): 500EUR
- Late student registration (after August 6): 400EUR
Banquet Dinner: We can guarantee that participants registered no later than September 10 can attend the banquet dinner on Tuesday, September 14. Registration to the banquet is done in conjunction with the workshop registration.
Students: Proof of Student ID is required. Please have your advisor or faculty send an email confirmation of your student status within seven (7) days of registering to: "pgm2010(at)helsinki.fi". Please add "PGM2010 Student Status Confirmation" and the name of the student on the subject line of the email.
Invitation letters for VISAs: As we need to inform the ministry officials of the relationship we have with the visa applicants, we will only consider requests from those individuals who have registered as participants and paid their registration fees, and have a background in probabilistic graphical models. Please explain how your work is related to PGMs in a request letter to be sent after successful registration to "pgm2010(at)helsinki.fi", and include also your name, affiliation, date of birth, address, nationality, passport number and purpose and length of your visit. Please add "PGM2010 invitation letter" on the subject line of the email. Also please note that it is not sufficient to just tick in the registration form that you need this letter, you have to send this information by email too as described above.
