We have reserved a block of 80 rooms in the Scandic Grand Marina hotel, which is located next to the conference venue, the Marina Congress Center overlooking the harbour of Helsinki. These rooms are available on a "first come, first served" basis until August 27, 2010. After this date the participants will have to arrange their accomodation by themselves.

The PGM hotel reservation code for the Scandic Grand Marina hotel is BPGM120910. The code applies for dates September 11 to September 15. With this code, the following special rates apply:

  • Single room, weekend rate: 110EUR/night
  • Double room, weekend rate: 120EUR/night
  • Single room, weekday rate: 125EUR/night
  • Double room, weekday rate: 160EUR/night

If you choose not to use our PGM block of rooms at the Scandic Grand Marina, the workshop venue is about a 15 minute walk from the downtown area of Helsinki where you can find numerous hotels in different price categories ( walking directions from the Main Railway Station). For budget accommodation, you may want to consider the Eurohostel located only 300 meters from the workshop venue.
